I started Travel by Golden after too many years of being the person every friend and cousin called before booking anything. It turns out the parts most people dread, the timing, the connections, the “is this neighborhood actually good,” are the parts I like.
I plan a limited number of trips at a time so each one gets real attention. When you work with me, you get me: the same person on the discovery call, in your inbox with the proposal, and on the other end of the text when your flight gets cancelled.

How I plan
Your way, not mine
Some people want every hour scheduled. Some want two anchors a day and long lunches. The first thing I do is figure out which kind of traveler you are, and the itinerary follows from that.
Details are the job
The right side of the train for the view. The restaurant that's closed on Tuesdays. The 45 minutes between landing and the first ferry. This is what you're paying for, so it's what I spend the time on.
